Diversity Essay Samples
Diversity Essay SamplesDid you know that medical schools all across the country have guidelines about the kind of diversity essay samples they should be asking applicants for? The fact is that even if a school asks for diversity, it does not necessarily mean that the student should provide the sample essay. Remember, this is one of the most important things that a school is likely to ask a student for. This is especially true if the applicant is applying to a medical school that does not require any diversity in their requirements. Some schools actually ask for a novel response to a question, while others will ask for at least four diversity essays. Still others will ask for five or more essays. The best advice for students applying to many different schools is to submit their essays to all of them. As an example, let's say that the student applied to ten schools, each with different rules about submission of essays. Now, the student might go ahead and submit her essay to each school i ndividually. On the other hand, she might choose to submit her essay to each school as a package, instead. When the application is complete, she would simply send the package to the school. All in all, each essay should be sent to the school within a few days of the student receiving the essay in the mail. As a general rule, if a school asks for four or more essays, it may take a few days to receive the essay. It may even take several weeks before the essay is processed and received by the school. If you are applying to a medical school that asks for a novel response to a question, it may be advisable to check in with that school. You might want to find out what they expect and ask the applicant to provide a more complex response. However, the idea is to be prepared for all of the diversity essays that will be sent to the schools. In the end, there is no point in submitting only a few diversity essay samples to some medical schools. Your resume will do you no good if the school does not like your essay.
